Our Team
Marlene Burke
Vice President of Operations, Managing Broker – REALTOR®Marlene joined Pater Real Estate in June 2019. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Plymouth State College. Marlene has over 20 years’ experience in Commercial Property Management, most recently at Colliers International, and previously at Sovereign Realty Development Corp. Her areas of expertise include building operations and lease administration, tenant retention, crisis management, and lease negotiations. Marlene is a member of the Granite State South Board of REALTORS® and the Commercial Investment Board of REALTORS®. An avid cook, Marlene is also a long-distance runner, having competed in both the Boston and New York Marathons. Licensed NH Real Estate Principle Broker #053474.
Terry Ryan
Associate Broker – REALTOR®Terry, founder of Pater Real Estate Management Co., Inc., holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Rivier College. Terry has an extensive background in financial management, marketing, contract law, contracting and space planning. As a licensed Real Estate Broker, Terry is an active member of the Granite State South Board of REALTORS® serving as Board Treasurer and a member of the Education and Strategic Planning Committees. Terry is also a member of the Commercial Investment Board of REALTORS®, the Greater Derry-Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Finance Committee of the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS®. Terry was the recipient of the 2008 GSSBR President’s Award. In 2012, Terry Ryan was awarded REALTOR® of the Year from the Granite State South Board of REALTORS®. Nancy Sherman
Assistant Property Manager – Commercial Division – Notary Public – REALTOR®Nancy joined Pater Real Estate in July 2019. Nancy has over 20 years of property management experience previously at Colliers International as a Tenant Services Specialist/Assistant Property Manager. Nancy is the first point of contact for all our commercial properties. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters and three grandchildren. Heather Colbert
Senior Property Manager – Notary Public – REALTOR®Heather has both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Computer Information Systems from Bentley University, and over 20 years of experience in international accounting, financial management, and small business computer systems. Heather started at Pater Real Estate in the Spring of 1997. In addition to listing and showing rental properties, she functions as the MLS head administrator, as well as overseeing and documenting office procedures. As a director of the Granite State South Board of REALTORS®, she is able to stay abreast of the changing real estate market and regulations, especially in the rental market. Heather is a member of the Diversity, RPAC, Education, Nominations, and Community Service committees at GSSBR and was the 2022 President. She is also a Notary Public. An advocate for community involvement, she has served on the Salem High School Parents’ Music Club Board of Directors and the Windham Service Team of Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains as Town Cookie Manager. 2022 President of Granite State South Board of REALTORS®. Heather’s passions include spending time with family, genealogy, crafting, and knitting. Licensed NH Real Estate Salesperson #045271.
Michael Mavrogeorge
Condominium Association ManagerMichael Mavrogeorge joined Pater Real Estate in July 2022. Mike has over 20 years of experience in condominium management. He currently manages all of our condominiums and special projects. His knowledge of the NH State Statutes and condominium governing documents gives a level of expertise needed for managing condominium associations. He also has vast knowledge of building infrastructure that gives our condominium portfolio the knowledge needed for any capital improvement projects. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his Harley Davidson and playing in his band.
Mandy Soucy
Residential Property Manager – Rental Agent – REALTOR®Mandy came to Pater Real Estate as a rental agent in June 2019. As a 2-year full time Real Estate Agent for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Verani Realty, she brings knowledge and experience of sales while learning the intricacies of property management and rentals. Mandy is well schooled in customer service having spent several years as a CS Representative at Eversource. Prior to working at Eversource, Mandy had her own Professional Wedding Photography business, and continues to enjoy photography. Licensed NH Real Estate Salesperson #073318.
Katie Boyle
Office AdministratorKatie joined Pater Real Estate in the fall of 2016. As the front desk associate, Katie greets visitors to the office, schedules appointments, processes rental applications, and performs general office duties. A graduate of Keene State University, Katie majored in Graphic Design and has been overseeing several redecorating projects for our managed properties.
Our Accounting Team
Our accounting team processes all receivable and payables of our managed residential and commercial accounts and maintain the owner and tenant database through Rent Manager software. Our database allows both owners and tenants to login into the portal to access their accounts.
Donnamaria Harrington
Staff AccountantDonna received her associate’s degree in Accounting from Franklin Pierce College. She had been an office manager prior to coming to Pater Real Estate. Donna worked for Pater Real Estate for ten years before moving to California. After her move back to NH, she returned to our accounting department in June 2015. Donna processes all the residential rent payments, invoices, and owner statements. She also prepares all the invoices for our maintenance division.
Cheri Curran
BookkeeperCheri graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Early on in her career, she gained 10 years of experience working as a full charge bookkeeper for a real estate developer. From 1991 to 2022, she owned and operated a childcare center licensed for 56 children. Cheri enjoys camping as well as spending time with friends and family.
Thomas Butkevich
Staff AccountantTom joined Pater Real Estate in March 2021. He holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Southern NH University. Tom has over 9 years of property management bookkeeping experience. In his spare time, he likes to hike, read, listen to music, and work out.
Our Maintenance Team
Our reliable maintenance team handles small plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs, as well as, painting, cleaning and lawn maintenance services. We are able to prepare a rental unit for occupancy with minimal vacancy time and respond to maintenance issues 24/7 in a professional and timely way.
Mike DePalma
Maintenance Manager – NH Licensed Home InspectorMike has 15 plus years experience in all aspects property management and maintenance and can handle small plumbing, electrical, carpentry repairs, painting and general property maintenance. Mike is an excellent communicator and keeps owners and tenants informed during maintenance repairs and projects. As a project manager, Mike has coordinated the renovation of a 280-unit condominium community in Hooksett and was able to bring the project to completion on time and on budget. Mike has had the added experience of serving on the Board of Directors for a local condominium association and has held the position as president of the association. Mike has an Associate Degree in Applied Science and is well versed in investor relations and landlord/tenant law. Mike’s interests include the renovation of antique cars.
Patrick Ryan
Senior Maintenance TechnicianPat is the co-founder of Pater Real Estate Management Co., Inc. and has over 50 years’ experience in construction and over 35 years’ experience in property management. He is skilled in plumbing, electrical and carpentry. He remains active in the company while enjoying semi-retirement.
Kim Baraw
Maintenance CoordinatorKim joined the Pater Real Estate Maintenance team in July 2023. She decided to make a career change after working for 20 years at a local photography studio. Her organizational skills and positive attitude have been an asset to the Pater team. In her spare time, she enjoys long rides in her Jeep on a warm day, crafting, and spending time with her husband and 2 kids.
